Continuous water circulation without app configuration, using manual water-level and cleaning checks.

The main tradeoff

No battery pumping or adjustable flow mode; the current US instructions require hand washing.

Your needs, this model

Does it fit your priorities?

Can I require plug-in continuous flow, a plastic drinking surface and at least 1.8 liters?

Yes. Those are the current US P4103S model's specified arrangement and reservoir capacity.

The PETKIT EverSweet Solo SE P4103S is the straightforward continuous-flow option in the current US EverSweet line. It has a 1.8-liter plastic reservoir and drinking surface, a wireless internal pump and external USB power. Its appeal is a simple operating routine without app setup. It is a useful choice when that routine is what the household wants, rather than a smaller substitute for the Bluetooth or battery features of other EverSweet models.

Continuous flow with external power

The US FAQ says the fountain circulates continuously once plugged in and does not offer adjustable flow modes. There is no timed Smart cycle or approach-triggered mode to configure. That simplicity avoids another control to manage, but it also means a user cannot choose an intermittent schedule using an onboard setting.

The unit needs an external five-volt, one-amp supply for pumping. The current package includes the USB cable but excludes the adapter, so check the supply before arranging the fountain's location. Wireless describes the pump's internal power connection to the base; it does not mean the entire fountain works on a battery away from an outlet.

Place the assembly on a level, stable indoor surface with a suitable cable route. Keep the power connection protected during filling and cleaning, and check the actual supply if circulation stops. An outlet-free position calls for a genuinely rechargeable model, such as the EverSweet Max, with its own operating-mode conditions.

Compact capacity without a fixed unattended duration

The listed reservoir capacity is 1.8 liters. The body measures about 6.29 inches wide and deep and 6.06 inches high. Those dimensions are useful for placement, but allow additional room to lift the tray and wet assembly. A convenient cleaning location can matter more over time than saving the last fraction of an inch on a shelf.

PETKIT publishes suggested days of use based on pets and consumption. Treat those as conditional illustrations, rather than a refill schedule. Water level, debris, evaporation and actual drinking access still need regular checks. A low reservoir should be refilled with suitable fresh water, while a dirty full reservoir needs cleaning rather than simply waiting until it is empty.

Plastic drinking parts and a separate pump

The US specifications list ABS and silicone. A plastic tray is the actual drinking surface; the similar appearance of another EverSweet model does not establish a hidden steel tray or tank. If a steel drinking surface is essential, compare a model that explicitly supplies it, rather than selecting this one on the strength of a generic product-family name.

The pump is an electrical component within the wet assembly, although it receives power without an exposed internal cable. The base remains a separate powered part. Do not confuse lift-off convenience with a reservoir containing no electrical pump. Inspect and clean the pump and water passages according to the actual supplied instructions, then check that the parts seat correctly before restarting.

Hand washing and filter replacement

The current FAQ says none of the fountain parts are dishwasher-safe. Separate wet cleaning from care of the electrical base and power connection. A detachable design provides access, rather than permission to immerse every piece or apply a dishwasher cycle. Keep a small cleaning brush available for corners and narrow passages that a quick rinse may miss.

The FAQ suggests replacing the compatible filter every four weeks. The filter and a water change serve different tasks from cleaning the tray, reservoir and pump. Check for visible residue and debris earlier, and select replacement parts by exact compatibility rather than assuming all round or flat fountain filters are interchangeable.

Automatic low-water shutdown is documented. It protects the operating arrangement described by the maker, but does not refill the tank, verify cleanliness or tell a person away from home what happened. This model has no documented app-control arrangement or individual drinking records to add those functions.

Choose simplicity deliberately

The Solo 2 adds Bluetooth controls, a water window and an intermittent mode. The 3 Pro UVC supplies a different tank material and treatment pump, while retaining a plastic drinking tray. Those are useful differences to compare rather than reasons to assume the SE supplies a subset of every advertised family feature.

Choose the Solo SE when continuous plug-in circulation, a compact plastic assembly and manual inspection fit the household. Move to the Solo 2 when adjustable intervals and Bluetooth controls are useful, or to a documented rechargeable model when the chosen location has no convenient outlet.

Key details at a glance

Reservoir and capacity limits1.8 L reservoir; capacity is separate from the inspection, cleaning and refill routine.
Power arrangementContinuous external USB power, specified as 5 V, 1 A. The current US package excludes the adapter. There is no operating battery.
Water flow and conditionsThe US FAQ expressly specifies continuous flow once plugged in, without adjustable modes. No Bluetooth or app setup is offered for this model.
Drinking surface and wet partsABS plastic drinking tray and reservoir, with a wireless electrical pump inside the wet assembly. Keep the electrical base out of immersion.
Cleaning and source limitationsCurrent US FAQ prohibits dishwasher cleaning of all components and suggests four-week filter replacement. The manufacturer-linked Japanese P4103S manual confirms the same basic model and base-immersion restriction; regional accessory/adapter/warranty claims are not imported into the US package.
App and observation limitsThe current US collection identifies this as the no-app option. No intake or individual-pet records are supplied.
