A useful fit for

A compact wired installation when the steel tank and supplied treatment pump matter more than a steel drinking surface.

The main tradeoff

The tray is plastic and parts are hand-wash only. The advertised 1.8 L maximum is different from the 1.6 L usable capacity.

Your needs, this model

Does it fit your priorities?

Can I require plug-in continuous flow with a supplied UVC feature?

Yes. The current P4108 UVC package provides normal continuous operation and includes its UVC wireless pump.

Can I require a stainless-steel drinking surface?

No. The tank is stainless steel, but the current US comparison identifies the drinking tray as ABS plastic.

Does it meet a minimum usable reservoir requirement of 1.8 liters?

No. The current US FAQ specifies 1.6 L usable capacity and explains that 1.8 L is the maximum packaging figure.

The PETKIT EverSweet 3 Pro UVC P4108 is a compact plug-in fountain with a stainless-steel reservoir and a plastic drinking tray. It suits a household that wants the included UVC pump, app flow controls and a relatively low body. The material distinction matters: its steel container does not make it the right match for someone whose essential requirement is a steel surface where the cat drinks.

Use the 1.6-liter figure for the working reservoir

The current US page specifies 1.6 liters of usable capacity. Its FAQ explains that 1.8 liters printed on packaging describes the maximum capacity instead. Those figures should not be treated as interchangeable when comparing minimum usable reservoir requirements. A household requiring at least 1.8 usable liters should select a model with that capacity actually established.

PETKIT separately describes sixty milliliters retained in the tray for a power interruption. That small accessible reserve is a useful construction detail, not a promise that the fountain can support a particular unattended period. The body is listed at 5.83 inches high. Allow space to lift off the wet components, handle the tray and reach the pump during cleaning.

A wireless pump still needs outlet power

The fountain requires continuous external USB power to operate its pump. The current US package excludes the adapter and specifies a five-volt, one-amp input. The pump receives power without an exposed internal cable, but there is no main operating battery. A buyer seeking a truly cordless drinking location should compare the Max 2 UVC with its different power conditions.

The wireless electrical pump remains part of the wet assembly. Removing the tank does not leave every electrical component in a dry motor base. That differs from designs in which the reservoir contains only wet mechanical parts. Check this construction separately from whether the product can be lifted off its powered base.

Two flowing modes and a scheduled pause

Normal mode circulates continuously. Smart mode circulates intermittently, with timing controlled through the app. Do Not Disturb stops pumping during a chosen period; it is a pause rather than a third style of flowing water. The original linked guide describes a default three-minute-on, three-minute-off interval.

The current UVC version has its own treatment cycle descriptions on the US product page. The older linked P4108 guide documents the underlying wireless fountain and its controls but predates that supplied pump description. Read the instructions that accompany the actual pump for its treatment behavior, especially when replacing an earlier pump.

Bluetooth control and remote-access conditions

The direct app connection is Bluetooth. It provides mode controls and device reminders, including water and filter status. That does not make the fountain a standalone Wi-Fi device. Remote interconnection is described through another compatible PETKIT main device within the specified distance, so check the exact bridging equipment before relying on remote control.

Do not confuse status alerts with individually measured drinking totals. The specific product information and linked guide do not establish an RFID reader or camera for attributing visits to different cats. Software profiles alone do not change the identification hardware. If individual attribution is important, compare the tag-based PLWF305 or camera-based Ultra on their own requirements.

Materials do not remove the cleaning workload

The US comparison identifies a 304 stainless-steel tank and an ABS drinking tray. Its care FAQ prohibits dishwasher cleaning of all parts. Separate the wet assembly from the electrical base and follow the pump's cleaning instructions. The included UVC feature and filter are additional components to care for; neither replaces washing accumulated residue from the tray and water passages.

The current FAQ suggests replacing the filter every four weeks. Check condition earlier when the water, debris or household use warrants it. A replacement schedule is not a guarantee that the reservoir remains clean between services. Low-water automatic shutdown is documented, but it remains sensible to inspect actual water level and pump operation.

Who should choose the compact Pro

Choose the 3 Pro UVC when a low plug-in body, a steel reservoir and the supplied treatment pump fit the household together. The Solo 2 offers a larger plastic reservoir and visible water-level window, while the Max 2 changes battery and dishwasher capabilities. Compare the specific drinking surface, usable capacity and power arrangement before choosing by the Pro name alone.

Key details at a glance

Reservoir and capacity limits1.6 L actual usable reservoir capacity; the current FAQ calls 1.8 L the maximum printed on packaging. The page separately describes 60 ml retained in the tray.
Power arrangementContinuous external 5 V, 1 A USB power is required for pumping. The current package excludes the adapter; a wireless pump is not an operating battery.
Water flow and conditionsNormal continuous or Smart intermittent flow, with a scheduled Do Not Disturb pause. The older exact guide defaults to three minutes on/three off; the supplied UVC pump's treatment behavior comes from current US information and its own instructions.
Drinking surface and wet parts304 stainless steel reservoir, with an ABS drinking tray. Wireless electrical pump remains in the wet assembly.
Cleaning and source limitationsCurrent US FAQ prohibits dishwasher cleaning. Clean tank, tray, pump and passages separately from the electrical base. The FAQ suggests filter replacement every four weeks; inspect condition earlier as needed.
App and observation limitsBluetooth app controls and water/filter status are specific documented functions. Broader collection recording claims are not sufficiently detailed to establish intake amount or per-cat attribution for this exact supplied version. Remote interconnection needs a compatible PETKIT main device.
Confirmed body height5.83 in
