A useful fit for

A household seeking a light-gray ceramic drinking bowl with all-around approach and a gentle plug-in bubbler.

The main tradeoff

The pump remains in the wet bowl and needs separate disassembly and cleaning; the 60 oz reservoir is not a battery or low-maintenance substitute.

Your needs, this model

Does it fit your priorities?

Can I require a ceramic drinking surface, dishwasher permission for the bowl and tower, and continuous outlet power?

Yes. The Creekside PWW00-17097 page identifies ceramic, and its guide permits the bowl and tower on the top rack while separating the pump and adapter.

Does this exact model supply a stainless-steel drinking surface?

No. The Creekside bowl and tower are ceramic; the steel alternative in this group is the Seaside.

Can the Creekside circulate continuously from a rechargeable battery?

No battery setup is documented. PetSafe's exact guide shows a submerged pump connected to the wall adapter.

The PetSafe Creekside Ceramic is a 60-ounce, open-bowl fountain for someone who wants a ceramic drinking vessel with a soft central bubble and access from more than one side. The exact US model is PWW00-17097. Its main distinction from the similarly sized Seaside Stainless is the ceramic bowl and tower, not an alternate power system: both use an outlet-powered submerged pump and require pump cleaning.

A ceramic surface with an open bowl

PetSafe specifies a 60-ounce capacity and a 360-degree design, so several approach directions are available around the tower. The light-gray ceramic bowl and tower create a different contact surface and appearance from the steel Seaside. Ceramic does not mean every component is ceramic: the pump, filter housing, foam filter, carbon filter, adapter and cord are separate parts of the assembly.

The nominal 60 US fluid ounces converts to about 1.77 liters. It is a small-to-moderate reservoir by the standards of the wider fountain catalogue, not a promise of a specific number of days between checks. Refill as needed and keep the water above the pump’s required level. The Creekside guide warns that the pump can fail if run dry and should work in at least an inch of water.

The raised tower provides a quiet bubbling stream while the surrounding bowl stays open. The open shape also means water remains in the bowl when the pump is disconnected, although the fountain will not circulate while unplugged. No rechargeable operating plan is documented.

Dishwasher permission has a boundary

The ceramic bowl and tower, plus the plastic filter housing, may go on the dishwasher’s top rack; the silicone gasket is not included in that permission. The pump and adapter must be cleaned separately, and filter media should not be treated as ordinary dishware. For this model, the ceramic surface therefore eases care of some large wet parts but does not remove the recurring work inside the pump.

PetSafe’s guide calls for disassembling and cleaning the fountain and pump every two to four weeks. Replace the carbon filter every two to four weeks and the foam filter every one to two months. Rinse a replacement carbon filter until the water runs clear. The assembly guide shows the pump and foam filter sitting in the bowl, the cord routed through the stem, a rubber cap sealing that opening, then the carbon-filter housing and tower fitted over the pump. Take a moment to check the seal and seating when reassembling; a loose cap or misaligned parts can lead to water where it should not be.

Ceramic also deserves a visual check. PetSafe’s troubleshooting advice says to inspect the bowl and tower for cracks if water appears around the fountain. A cracked ceramic piece is a replacement issue, not something a filter change fixes. If your household is likely to move the filled fountain often, think about how you will carry the complete bowl-and-pump assembly to the sink; no handle or detachable dry motor base is documented.

Good fit, and limits

The Creekside is a sensible candidate when ceramic, 360-degree bowl access, quiet bubbling and top-rack washing of the bowl and tower are the priorities. It is less suitable if you want a steel surface, battery operation, app tracking, an electrical motor that stays in a separate dry base, or a larger nominal reservoir. Those are not supplied by its ceramic construction.

Compared with the Seaside Stainless, it keeps the same 60-ounce label and shared-bowl orientation but changes the bowl and tower material. The Seascape is another ceramic, plug-in bubbler with 70 ounces of nominal capacity; its older guide and current listing refer to a different configuration, and its page does not establish the same 360-degree feature. Capacity and material alone do not make the models interchangeable.

Key details at a glance

Reservoir and capacity limits60 US fluid ounces nominal capacity, approximately 1.77 liters by unit conversion. This is not a measured usable-water volume or a promise of days between checks.
Power arrangementA submerged pump and wall adapter provide the documented outlet-powered arrangement. No rechargeable operating plan is documented; keep the adapter and cord connection dry.
Water flow and conditionsThe pump continuously circulates water into a soft bubbling tower, with a 360-degree open-bowl design. A pet-approach sensor or selectable interval mode is not established.
Drinking surface and wet partsThe bowl and tower are ceramic; the pump, filter housing, filters, adapter, rubber cap and cord are separate. Ceramic does not describe the whole wet or electrical path.
Cleaning and source limitationsThe ceramic bowl, tower and plastic filter housing may go on the dishwasher's top rack except the silicone gasket. Hand-clean the pump and adapter separately. PetSafe advises cleaning every two to four weeks, carbon replacement every two to four weeks, and foam replacement every one to two months.
App and observation limitsThe exact model sources do not document an app, Wi-Fi or intake attribution. Its open bowl provides physical access, not drinking records.

Use the exact model’s instructions for operating limits, supplied equipment and version differences.
